We took over a huge site recently that had a recent Google "Hacked: Content injection" warning in console and traffic had tanked.
The hacking was fixed and site restored, traffic has started returning to original levels, but the error message is still there. We requested Google review it but nothing has happened.
Anyone had this happen?
How long does Google typically take to remove the warning and what are implications for SEO?
