How do I create a mailing list?

Hi guys,

So I'd like to send 500 E-mails, now I'd prefer to find a solution to send them all at once rather than individually.

If I create a contact group and send it via "to" everyone in the group will see everyone else's mail right? if that's the case that's a big no-no, I also can't send it via "BCC" as it will most likely ship to spam straight away.

Is there a way to send large amounts of mail without getting it stuck in the spam folder and also making sure no one knows who else is on the list?
