Hi guys,
Started a business not long ago. Let's say my business name is "123magic cupcakes", and there is a company called "123magic cupcakes" as well overseas. What would I have to do to rank higher than those overseas? Shouldn't Google serve up my website first if the searchers are from my own country and state?
Some strategies would be appreciated :)

International ranking techniques are completely different than your local business. If you planned to ship your product around the world then it might be useful to do SEO accordingly. First set up your organization schema in you website homepage. Then target for International keywords. To rank in with top competitors your site must me in high authority.
