Im new to SEO and still learning the basics of it. I make websites for small local businesses and I need some guidance with the SEO for them. Most of the content and resources available online are focused on SEO for blog posts but I cant find any resources on SEO for a business website that has 4-5 pages like home, about us, services, contact. Where can I find information related to this? There is information about local SEO but it focuses on listing in Google my business and local directories.
Also, how to build backlinks for these websites? Currently I’m making a website for four clients - a school, a therapist and a food delivery business and a real estate company. So do I simply ask other websites to link to my websites? Do the listings in local directories count as good backlinks? Do I need to ask bloggers in the related industry to link to my websites?
