Hello everyone, I need advice on structuring a site I'm building. The company has three divisions that I've organized this way.
Residential
- Plumbing - /residential/plumbing
- Services - /residential/services
- Service - /residential/services/:service
Commercial
- Plumbing - /commercial/plumbing
- Construction - /commercial/construction
- Services - /commercial/services/
Medical
- Plumbing - /medical/plumbing
- Medical Gas - /medical/medical-gas
- Services - /medical/services
I was thinking this organization would help with SEO but the thing is, I don't really need "/residential", "/commercial" or "/medical" pages.
Should I be redirecting those pages, leave them as 404s or should I move everything to a new scheme for instance "/residential/plumbing" becomes "/residential-plumbing" thus doing away with the implied "/residential" etc.
