New job: $25,000 salary increase. Work from home until the pandemics over. Once pandemics over I commute 2.5 hours one way 3 days a week to work or I relocate to LA county. Fortune 50 client and a big agency name.
Current job: I make $41,000 a year. Commute is 5 minutes. Great boss, potential promotion in 2 months. I can do side work but don’t have any at the moment. agency is a puppy mill with hundreds of small biz clients. Days never go over 8 hours.
No dependents, no children, 22 years old.
Long term I think the name would help me tremendously of the new agency and to talk about my client in an interview would be impressive. However the cost of living change would negate any increase in wage that I am getting.
Do I ride out WFH with new company to get the name and experience or stay where I’m at and go for the promo.
