I work for my family's business, and fortunately my family is largely bought into SEO.
However, when the topic of blog posts come up, I try and approach it from a standpoint that we should be writing with relevant keywords in mind - potentially exploring topics that could use interactive features to drive traffic to pages where someone might make a purchase.
My parents, want to write articles that are.. fun? Essentially, they want to write articles that weave their personal experiences from a vacation they went on and tie it into various topics. While I believe these articles could be interesting to a specific audience, I'm wondering if posting non-keyword specific articles actually hinders our current SEO efforts.
