I am a budding SEO that also handles content for a small marketing company. We specialize in a specific industry, making sure our clients are not in the same physical areas so they don't compete with each other.
However, that separation doesn't exist online. And, I'm wondering how people handle writing optimized content for multiple clients in the same niche.
For instance, eventually, I write about a given topic for each client. But, if I optimize each blog post for a snippet, then eventually (hypothetically/hopefully) I knock one client out of the snippet or high rank for another.
It's good for my track record, but not for the client who got bumped.
Any thoughts on how to balance this?
