Not really asking for anything. Just here to inform and mildly rant about Google's My Business new policy.
So apparently if you want to mark your business as temporarily closed. You now have to first escalate it to their support. Then take a picture of your business front (every location) to send to him. So the customer rep can in return escalate it to their 'special team'.
And if your business is seasonal. Then you have to obviously do this every year.
I'm not entirely sure why this is done this way. But it's getting a bit obnoxious.
I'm hoping that the pictures don't actually be that recent. And that they accept older ones. How would they know anyway?
