I currently work as a Digital Marketing Coordinator in a eCommerce Toy Company in which we sell educational toys and games. I mainly work on the overall SEO of the website and trying to optimise all of our pages, products, categories, copy etc...
The budgets for the next year are being finalised and I've been asked if there are any tools to put forward that myself could use to help improve the ongoing SEO of the site. SEMrush is the big one I'm trying to sway the Head of the department to invest in. All I use currently is Ubersuggest, Google Search Console and Google Ads for keyword research because the company hadn't had any premium tools when I joined.
I was wondering if anyone could help me formulate a document to prove why we should invest into the tool, if there are any metrics I can use to say it will help improve traffic by xy% and ROI by xy% - any metrics would be useful. I have managed to get some documentation directly from SEMrush but I need to condense this down into solid points. We also have someone who specialises in copywriting and blog writing, along with a social media specialist too - so the portion of those tools will help factor in some extra points.
I hope what I have said has made sense, I would appreciate any help on this where possible.
