I have a client who just opened a new office, and he wants to make this office his headquarters. Instead of creating a new GMB page for the new office, he wants to change the address on his current GMB to the new one. He wants to do this because he wants his reviews to reflect the new location.
However, he then wants to create a new GMB for the old location. He's not sure he's going to keep the old location, that's why he's de-prioritizing it, but he still wants to treat it like it's a place open for business. It is still open for business and he still uses the office.
I'm leery this could result in a penalty and he'll get the GMB page with all the reviews suspended. Maybe I'm being too cautious. Thoughts?
