I'm looking at the results of a crawl on an e-commerce website. I did not make this site; I'm told the site is pulling its product data from a larger vendor catalog database.
I'm seeing 30+ versions of the same page with different referrers in the URLs. All of the referring page IDs seem to be coming from this website itself and sometimes even the same page. For example:
/about-us/
/about-us/?
/about-us/?ReferrerPage=Blog&refPgId=#######
/about-us/?ReferrerPage=AboutUs&refPgID=#####
I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at here and how to remove these pages from a crawl (they're not all in the sitemap). The site speed is very slow and I feel like this cannot be helping.
