My website moved from "fakesiteapp.com" to "fakesite.com". How will this affect its SEO metrics? (More details in the description)

Obvious disclaimer - the site name in the title is fake.

So, my company decided to move the site to a more appealing URL. All pages of the old website now have the 301 code Moved Permanently, are non-indexable, redirect to their new clones, canonical tag show the respective URLs of the new site.

I have a few questions:

  1. How will this affect the SEO of the site?
  2. What can I do to help Google understand that this new site is the correct one?
  3. What problems can arise due to such migration?
  4. In addition to the settings I've described (i.e. code 301, non-indexation, etc), what other settings are important in this process that we may have overlooked?
