Will switching hosting service negatively or positively affect my local SEO/Google rankings? (Wix to WordPress)

Hi - a few years ago, I made a website on Wix for my mom's restaurant. At that time, I had no idea how to optimize SEO, but I did create a nice website (Wix enabled by designer skills), bought some backlinks services from freelancers, and winged it to help my mom out. I'm not sure exactly what I did (paid a bunch of freelancers to do citations and backlinks) but the restaurant would show up as position 1 or 2 on the keywords that I aimed for. It is an Asian restaurant so the competitors were lagging much behind us.

However, now, with work experience, I realized that Wix is horrible for optimized SEO. Although we position as 1 or 2 in the local area, I would like to expand it a bit more (Orange County area). Some things that I want to add that we don't have currently are blog posts, etc. Is it even worth it to make this transition? Or am I fine where I stand?
