How many seo clients do actively manage a month? With how many employees?

Just wondering what other small agencies out there are doing. I have been working as a software developer and digital marketer for the last 12 years for large agencies and big box retailers.

Recently started my own agency, and got some great clients. Mostly word of mouth from my network.

SEM can be done none stop 24/7 )) so what’s a realistic number of clients to have? I understand that I can just keep hiring people (but trying to build a good enough base before hiring and asking people to commit) does this even make sense lol

My current teams structure is 2 web developers a graphics designer, and freelance copywriter.. I take care of client management/strategies/project management/some heavy lifting back end code writing ...

Any tips or advice will be greatly appropriate
