How to handle two URLs (Brand and Search-Term)

Hi r/SEO,

I am about to launch my first project: a comparison website for products in a niche. For that , I was able to purchase two URLs and I am asking you what would be the best case to handle it:

So I currently own "www.mybrand.com" and "www.compare-product.com". I purchased the second one for SEO reasons - obviously. But I don't know how to properly handle them right now. Two sites? Redirects? Does it count as duplicate content? Set canonical? - I am a little lost right now.

Can you tell me a little bit about the best case scenario so I do get the best results out of it?
