Getting back into SEO. Need to start from the beginning...

Hi everyone!

A friend of a friend has asked me to do SEO for their website. A small project to increase website traffic and get about 2 new customers a month (she's an accountant). Her website has been already to designed to work well with SEO.

I have had a little experience with SEO back when I was studying marketing and I see this proposition as a good opportunity to get back into it.

The problem is: I've forgotten most of it.

My plan is to go through Google Skillshop again and remind myself all the basics.

Would this be enough for such a little project? Do you guys have any tips where to start? I see a lot of talk about plugins and various tools. I'm way behind that topic.

And what about pricing? I told him I'll do it for free for him since I don't have much experience but he said he will definitely want to pay me something even if it's symbolic. How do you work out how much to charge just for SEO?

I'd appreciate some help :)
