I'm part of the marketing team for a niche software company and am after some advice about how others get visualisation and track changes in their ranking for keywords.
Our current process is very manual and involves us manually looking at Google's front page in Incognito and using Google Adwords to view the front page from different territories. We then copy these results into a spreadsheet so that over time we can see how our position moves, and what changes our competitors are making.
I think that this process is time-consuming, unnecessary and unreliable, however, my manager really likes the visualisation that it gives us. I am wanting to transition to a more automated process, so I am wondering if anyone could give advice on tools to use, or describe the way that they keep track of their SERPS. Any advice would be most appreciated, thanks.
**Note: we do use Moz, so I am sure I could make much better use of it.
