Star Ratings Not Always Showing up in the SERPs

I've got a product review site that allows users to review the article with stars.

For the articles that have ratings, I can see Google showing the stars in the SERPs when I search the exact url (e.g site:url.com)

But for some reason, the stars do NOT show up in the SERPs for keywords the very same article is ranking for (even though other results are showing star ratings).

This is the case with all the articles on my site.

Anyone have any idea why?
