I recently had a huge problem with a website and I’ve been forced to stop using it. I want to start a new website on the same topic, but I can’t 301 the old website to my new one.
Would it be okay to manually ask webmasters of websites I got backlinks from to change their link to my new website, or will this be suspicious to Google?
The other options are to change say 200 words in the article and add my link in that way, and remove the old link. Or write a whole new guest post for them and keep the old link.
Will I get a penalty for manually transferring 100 backlinks over the course of a couple of months? (Old website links to new website relevant articles)
