I'm having a little bit of a struggle! I'm redoing a client site on WordPress that is just currently terrible...but it has SEO juice I don't want to lose. The links aren't going to be the same, and there will likely be a little bit of downtime while the switch takes place. What things do I make sure I consider to maintain as much of the built up SEO leverage as possible?
I know I'm supposed to have something in place for 301 redirects (planning on using the Yoast SEO plugin for this purpose). Willing to put the work and research in to make sure I'm doing it right, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything and would sincerely appreciate any points in the right direction.
