I have an older blog that I haven't used in 3 years, it has 300 articles, can I delete them all and start fresh without a penalty?

It has some 300 articles, but I'm looking to start fresh and just delete everything and revamp the website with a new theme.the top

Can I delete all those older articles or will these cause me to hinder any possible growth and give me a penalty?
