SEO & Re-creation of a website

Hi Everyone

I am recreating a website. Here's what all I am doing.

1. Migrating server from GoDaddy to Amazon.
2. Changing Homepage and all other web pages content keeping URLs same.

Here's what I want to know:

1. What effect will it do to my website's ranking and traffic?
2. Will I have to start from zero or will my previous authority remain the same?
