- What is the general opinion on using subdomains vs subfolders for a multi-language multi-site Wordpress page?
If I understand it correctly, crawlers will register subdomains as different sites, which might lead to more inter-linking and somewhat of an effect of backlinking between your subdomains and main domain - however, could there be issues with duplicate content?
Isn't it better to use subfolders and pump the domain altogether for SEO purposes, making every other language also boost the main domain in terms of SEO and authority?
- What is the best cache tool to use, or should one use more of them at once and would that cause actually more problems than solutions?
I've been looking into W3 Total cache, WP Super cache and WP Fastest Cache - any suggestions here? Anything in particular one should use alongside them?
- What are some general free tools to use for an entire SEO project of a website?
I've stumbled upon Infinite WP, which seems to have a lot of useful tools besides SEO tools, but would like to really use as many free tools as possible and use their information to create better targeted content and fix what needs to be fixed. What would a general, that is to say usual, pattern of work with free tools for SEO look like?
How have you guys planned out your routine work for clients and what has worked best for you? How detailed are your monthly reports and what do you when no real progress is happening? How much do you charge on a monthly basis?
