My main link-building has been referring people to my website from a niche subreddit (NOT spam - I set up the site to save me typing the same answer to the same queries that have arrived every single day for years). This is completely incidental, and this site really doesn't have any other link-based actions. My only real strategy is high-quality content and good onsite SEO.
Since the core update I've lost a shit-load of traffic. I still retain number 1 positions for a good number of key terms, while others have dropped 2 or 3 places. So the only thing I can think is that my domain has lost some authority, and the only thing I can think is that whatever authority reddit conveyed may have been lost.
Thoughts?
