I am currently developing a German niche website around a keyword that has 10-100k searches a month. I am in the midst of writing all the content, but already registered a domain and put 3 articles on it just to get indexed faster.
I am also planning on making a separate English website, focused on the same niche, localized for US. This is my first niche project, so I have three questions:
- I was planning to have a separate domain, with similar site structure and on the same hosting plan, as the german one. Is this ideal, or would it be better to either have it on the same domain? Or have a separate side AND separate hosting. (I read this is a must for PBNs, but im not sure if PBNs are worth the risk to me)
- People say the sandbox takes a couple of months. A couple of months from what point? A couple of months after being first indexed?
- If I reach out for backlinks, would it be beneficial to write guest posts that link to both of my sites? Or is this rather counter-productive?
