Targeting for other keywords and getting conversions

We want to SEO the keyword "scuba diving" because we sell scuba diving lessons.

If we write an article on "best scuba diving cameras", will this also have a positive effect on our targetted keyword "scuba diving"?

Will this also get us conversions?
