How do auto-next post loaders affect SEO?

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can help with this as I can't find info anywhere.

Does anyone know how auto-next post loaders affect SEO?

I am using WPAstra Pro and there is an option to do just that - it will load the next post as the user gets further down the page, to provide a seamless transition in to another post. It seems quite a cool feature to get people reading more of your content.

I am playing around with this, and Google Analytics correctly reads it as a new page view, but I wonder how a Google bot would crawl it. Would the bot suddenly include the second (and third, and forth, etc etc) post's text in its analysis of page 1's content for ranking purposes?

I.e., if you had a post about Topic 1 and a post about Topic 2, and Google crawled the post on Topic 1, would the second post on Topic 2 auto-load for the bot and then its text be read and assumed to be part of Topic 1 instead of Topic 2? This would obviously not be great.

I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for any advice!
