Frustrated with my Google Campaigns

I’ve been trying to play the Google Ads game for a few months now and feel like I’m just flushing money down the toilet. I used to work in SEO/SEM and thought I had a sense of what to do, but I am at a loss. I currently just have a google shopping campaign going, but I really feel like there is a lack of transparency (I can’t see every single thing that was clicked on, and what ad was served?).

Am I just bad at this and need professional help? With shopping people can see the image and price so I would think the clicks I do get would convert, but I get clicks for really random keywords (“testicle cuffs”???!!). I only want to spend $200 to $300 a month on this, although if I find a method that works and converts I would spend more. Any advice for me? Should I shut the campaigns down and pursue other venues for sales?
