In a perfect world how would you approach 5 different landing pages for let’s say 5 McDonalds, same menu, same deals, just different locations.
A lot of agencies I work with make templates for each LP which are similar in terms of keywords and copy and they just change the name of the location.
The agency thinks it will make my job easier since the copy is so similar, so they want me to just make them all similar and bring down the rate quite significantly.
But in order to avoid keyword cannibalism and getting flagging for similar content, I’ve gotta reinvent the wheel 5 times. And unless each location is offering a special deal... I’m not sure what to do or how else to approach besides explain why black hat SEO tactics are not good and suggest alternative strategy.
What would you do?
