How do you design your websites for SEO ? (UI/UX vs. SEO)

TL;DR - How do you design your websites so they have good UI/UX and are capable to rank well (SEO)?
Do you put content on your "home page/first page", "blog" section, "services page",...?

It is a big mystery for me how to structure a site in a way that it looks professional, is pleasant to visit and also rank well. This issue looks almost like those unattainable triangles diagrams of three attributes where at most only two of the three are possible. I would love to hear your comment on this topics because I don't know where should I put "how to" and content sections on my site. Should I add those text paragraphs on my first page/home page or on my services page or maybe on my blog - I feel lost!

For example I can't comprehend how to find the right compromise between UI/UX and content requirements for the SEO purpose. If you see those modern designed websites like coinbase, rbnhd, uber or airbnb they all have nice short first page/home page with not so many content with and rank very well... What can I do ? If I need i.e. 4000-5000 words long text, 4 images, etc. for my SEO purpose and I want to rank my first/home page should I add content as drop down (read more>) boxes, or put text on my services site or blog...

Any ideas, comments super appreciated !
