So I just checked Ahrefs for gearhungry.com and saw a massive drop in traffic since googles product review update. And when I check archive.org I can see that they experiment a lot with the ”structure” of their articles.
Do any of you have any insight in to what exactly google is punishing here?
The reason I’m asking is because I’ve seen some websites that for example have an article about ”best hockey skates” where they only link to 3 products (without even a short review) in the top of the article, and then 2500 words about hockey skates (how to choose, pros, cons etc), and they seem to have been unaffected by the update.
Is gearhungrys fall because they usually only have a intro text with some FAQ, and then short review of every product? Which is the way to go in the future?
