Sitemap Now Contains 190k URLs instead of Only 50k

Hey All,

I own a large e-commerce website with over 190,000 URLs/SKUs. For the longest time, the sitemap - and Google - only detected 50,000 URLs (ie: Google's sitemap crawl budget).

Can anyone explain why just recently (literally within the last 7-days) Google decided to increase the max from 50k to this number?

Also, I am NOT complaining! We literally increased our traffic from Organic by 50% by this happening...

Thank you!
