- In my industry, there are a lot of great pieces of content on other peoples' site that are now really outdated (2009-2016 range)
- I would love to create updated versions of that content, and I know Google values content that is up-to-date.
So my question is:
In creating updated content, how do I ensure that Google values the new content appropriately? Do I link back to the article and call out it is an update to these pieces of content? I don't want to boost the old content in search, but boost the updated article instead.
