So I have a website in a very small niche industry. We have 3-4 competitors only. I get about 30 visits every day from web search, so not a whole lot. I assume my competitors get about the same.
So here's my idea, let me know if you think this would work. Using a VPN, I'll clear cookies and search for my terms. I'll click on competitors, then bounce and return to search results. Then I'll click on my website, and spend 5-10 minutes on it then close out the search.
I then rinse and repeat, clearing cookies and searching from an new IP address every time. I have 3 browsers plus an Ipad and andriod I can connect to VPN and repeate the process from other devices as well.
With a low search volume like I get, would this effect rankings?
