I was reading a blog post some guy wrote about how he got his website ranking for 10k keywords in two months. Whether this is true or not is up for debate but what he said was critical is posting daily. He claims that Google will rank a website higher if there are daily posts being made to a website.
If i have a site that I want to rank well for certain keywords, will posting a daily blog about any random stuff, benefit the site as a whole because there is a regular feed of content? Is a regular content feed a ranking signal for a domain?
For example, let's say I am ranking well for "gardening tips". Will posting a daily blog post about what I did in my garden boost my domain because it is getting frequent updates even if those blog posts don't mention the term "gardening tips" at all.
