We're a bunch of scientists trying to get people educated about addiction using commercial DNA data. We taught ourselves how to build a website from scratch and went live at the beginning of February. Now we're trying to figure out SEO. My partner has a pretty good presence on Medium and really likes their interface (and getting paid). I think we need more high value content on our website's blog. What is the differential in overall "SEO" between having my partner link to our site from his Medium posts (+ backlinks, right) or asking him to write for our site (+ long form well written content on a regular basis). The site is genedsystems.com. If we're not allowed to have links to our own sites in these posts, I'll gladly delete mention of it. Thanks in advance to all of you for helping however you can.
