Over promotional title tag getting my pages delisted from google?

Hi,

have two SEO'd landing pages which have been removed from google. I haven't done any obviously blackhat backlinks, they're guest posts forum posts, blog comments, diversified anchors etc. Maybe 20 or so links in a month (not excessive).

The titles were:

"Best <service> in UK, trusted by <professsion>"

"The best <services2> in UK 2020"

I have seen titles like these in comparison sites, so I decided to use them on my website. I was wondering whether this might be the cause as to why Google has delisted these pages from serps. It's not a comparison site, it's a service provider that's claiming itself to be the best. I noticed if I do a search for site:domain.com, the webpages do show up in search results but the titles are edited to just <service> in search results. Could this be a sign Google isn't happy with my self accolade.

I dont want to make drastic and rash chages to the site. What do you guys think?
