Seeing lots of people (especially the big boys) putting the year's dates on the end of the title for posts, especially buyer's guides. I've noticed this in the past, but it seems to be even more prevalent now.
Anyone tried this? Had much success?
Is it basically a case of just editing the published date on an old post to today's date and putting 2020 at the end of the title? It seems that's what people are doing from looking at competitor's posts I've followed.
The fact that everyone seems to be doing it suggests that it's a tried and tested strategy. Although, as with everything like this, it seems ripe for a crackdown from Google.
