My coworker says ‘never’ use our brand name because users are already on our branded site so it’s redundant and to Leave more room for a longer description. (Brand name is 6 characters)
So we’d get this without Toyota example: Prius-sport-electric-vehicle-red.jpg
Seems incorrect to me for seo to not use brand name.
Our company is a global company and has high probability for product images to be shared or repurposed on other sites.
Alt tags I wouldn’t include brand name as the alt never leaves the page. Unless you can correct me here too.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
