Site migration left a buttload of 404s behind (mostly blog posts with the old URL structure). 301 them all to the general blog page?

Hey all,

Got an epic number of 404 and other errors following a site migration that I didn't perform but now have to clean up. The majority of errors are coming from blog posts due to a transition in URL structure (as far as I can tell).

The easiest way I can think to do this is run 301 redirects from those URLs to the general blog page, but wondering if anyone else might have any suggestions.

Note that this is for a commercial landscaping company; the blog isn't crucial to visitors on the site.
