An old client of mine with a small business has opened a second location. For 10 years I have his SEO based on the Township of his original location with good results. He spoke to an seo marketing from that advised him to switch to a url ending with the state abbreviation to cover a wider market, but that seems like incomplete advice. Shouldn’t there be a version of the site for each location? What’s the proper way to reconstruct a website to incorporate a second business location without losing their original seo value?
