Does changing Wordpress postslugs to new settings affect my SEO?

Does changing affect my SEO? Are there other things I need to do/consider when changing the slug?

Currently, my postslug looks like this; /blog/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

Eg; blog/2020/1/20/my-blog-post

I want to change it something more evergreen (and omit dates) such as

• /sample-post-name
• /archives/sample-post-name
