Recently my wordpress site was hacked, they proceeded to add tons of new pages with spam and they modified some pages with spam, and also added themselves on search console. I ended up restoring the old site, and changing every password within about 10 hours of the hack, but im still having some lingering effects.
I'm assuming the hacker submitted every page to search console for an instant result. After restoring the old site every fake page made instantly went to a 404, but the pages I had actual content up on and were taken over are still showing in search with the spammy looking titles even though the old site was restored. I'm getting some warnings in search console now for these pages, and some of them (my main pages), aren't even showing in search. I don't know what to do!
The new spammy pages with 404s I am reporting to be removed from google through search console, and I keep submitting my good pages that were temporarily modified to be re-crawled. It doesn't seem to be working though.
Does anyone have any idea how to get google reading these pages like they were? You can do a search in google and see what I mean - site:themotherhuddle.com
