Our small business client base has grown rapidly over the past year, and I've started noticing a trend that doesn't seem to be going away. The client doesn't want to pay an additional monthly fee for our team to write content, but they also tell us they don't have time to write content either. All we're asking for right now is one blog article a month from them.
When all the technical and on-page optimizations have been completed, there's not much else we can do on a monthly basis to move the needle unless we find ranking opportunities and publish more content.
What are some ways to get a client to either a) start writing the content themselves or b) finally give in and pay for content writing?
And if all else fails, how have some of you handled dealing with clients that ignore content?
