I just started working for an established marketing business that is trying to boost its web presence. Their SEO is abysmal, and it's fallen to me to fix it.
There's not much content on the site, but I suspect the domain name is a big offender too. They don't own the .COM, .NET, .ORG, not even the .CO. Those are all being squatted on. Right now, their domain is an acronym that no one would associate with the business.
I'm told a name change is off the table. What should I switch to, then? Should I use .US, .IO, or something else? Should I hyphenate? Thanks everyone.
