Issue with site migration

You guys helped me out a lot in my previous post and I greatly appreciate it. I got the website migrated off of GoDaddy to a new site and got the 301 redirects in place. I am having an issue though and I'm not sure if it's serious or not in regards to SEO, so I wanted to get some expert opinions. Here is my issue.

  1. The old Godaddy website and all the pages loaded as a non-www website.
  2. Google index and property with the old website is with the non-www version
  3. The new website uses www instead of the non-www version.
  4. My new home page is the non-www version but every other page is the www version
  5. submitted new sitemap under the correct domain property in google search console and i get a couldn't fetch error

I believe there is a 301 redirect on my www version to the non-version causing the main page to load as it is.

How do I correct this? should I delete the old sitemaps on the GoDaddy website, or find and change the 301 redirect from the non-www to www?

basically I'm worried that google can not see the new pages because of the way it is showing up or the sitemap not being able to be fetched (google search console shows the sitemap URL as not existing on URL inspection.). any help would be greatly appreciated
