Hi everyone,
Long time lurker of the sub.
I am 3 years into SEO and have learnt a lot.
An opportunity has come up for me at a digital agency that want to begin offering SEO to their clients. They have headhunted me to be that person due to previous results and successes.
I am in a lucky position as I am not taking over anyones previous work, and can begin SEO in the right way at this company.
That being said, my first task is to put together some way of pricing our service for existing clients so I can get to it.
When researching packages properly, the way that other agencies price their services seems out of touch in comparison to how I have achieved results.
I see a lot of 'bronze, silver and gold' style packages with promises of X amount of links built with the monthly fee. How can this be beneficial to any company? It seems like a way to get paid for easy and spammy link building without actually paying attention the bigger picture.
I would love some insight into how you guys would recommend I set out how our SEO services look to clients?
In my head it would be a standard minimum retainer fee for us to do the necessary work. I don't see how having 3 scaling packages (bronze silver and gold style) really benefits anyone as I am either providing SEO to the best of my ability or not at all.
I look forward to reading your responses! Thanks for your time!
Joey
