I need help picking a brand name. I want to rank for this term eventually because it will be my product’s name. The brand name is not a generic word. The pronunciation of the brand name have been decided, but can be spelt in 2 ways. Just using this as an example: PAIR & PEAR
-
PAIR: SERP shows ~900k results. Top result is a Wikipedia page for a professor with this last name. Second result is a university faculty page of this person too. Then the results drop off in relevancy.
-
PEAR: SERP shows ~ 600k results. Top result is a tech company with the same name. Second result is the Apple App store page of said tech company’s app. Then followed by YouTube videos of a song with the same name by a Dutch DJ, around 250k views.
I’m thinking the #1 would be easier to rank, but I have concerns about competing with that Wikipedia page. What do you guys suggest?
