Anyone else seeing their Google Pagespeed Insights scores drastically drop ever since the release of core web vitals?
I realize it's only one of 200 other indicators, but unfortunately we're seeing a huge amount of "outside agencies" trying to poach our clients by sending them their updated page speed insights scores and using scare tactics to tell them "if they don't achieve a 90+ score, they're going to drop in rankings."
We always have high scores on desktop 90+ but our mobile sites seem to have dropped dramatically into the 50-60 range. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this...the tests also don't seem to correlate with GTMetrix either which we always perform well in. They're also seemingly difficult or impossible to correct as some of the scripts are coming from third parties like YouTube which we have little control over.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced significant drops in page speed insights scores since the update and how they're handling it.
Thanks
